That’s a great question!
I have no qualifications in finance, just life experience. As a software developer, I’ve learned how to ask the right questions and dive deep into sometimes difficult concepts. This skill also helps me understand things from many angles. By applying these concepts to my own personal financial situation I’ve managed to maintain an excellent credit score while creating and handling healthy debt.
A lot can be learned from my experience
I can’t teach you how to get rich quick, but I can show you how I live within my means. This allows me to balance my finances, and stash away some of every paycheck as well. My blog isn’t about how much money you make. You can make a lot of money and still be broke! It’s about how to invest, track, and ultimately grow your money at nearly any income level.
I have experience in a lot of areas
I own a home in NY, a short term rental unit in FL, and a long term rental unit in FL. I’ve learned a great deal about investing, markets, derivatives, and even airline points. This led me into FOREX, Cryptocurrencies, swing trading, short selling, financial and technical analysis. I’ve run screaming from some of these, and fallen in love with others and I’d love to tell you which ones and why!
In short, I’m no expert but I still have plenty to offer!
But I’ve got tons of experience and stories to tell. Follow along, and you may pick up a couple tips from me – a weirdo who just happens to enjoy doing his bills every week!
